Nick Maccarone is an actor, writer, and teacher. Trained at Columbia University’s School of the Arts, Nick received his MFA in Theater and has appeared in many stage productions, feature films, and television shows like Scandal, Law & Order: SVU, Elementary, Eye Candy and Unforgettable. As a filmmaker, his short films have been accepted to festivals all over the world.
With a Masters in acting from Rutgers University, Hansen is making her feature film debut with Sonny Boy. Her unique style of directing concentrates on the actor’s process and emergence into character. She has directed countless short films including: (Jury Prize) Already Gone, (Award Winning) Reflections, (Award Winning) Flesh, Adored and Wings. Other work include: (Web series) Keeping It 100, (Web series) I Will Love, (Music Video) Progress, (Music Video) Life Without Love. Her background in acting has led her to discover her passion for directing.

Peter G Howell has been working as a DP for over a decade. He began his career in NYC but has had the opportunity to work across the country on a wide variety of projects. He has worked on many narrative, documentary, commercial and reality projects that have given him a diverse set of skills working at all levels of production. This diverse experience has given him a unique vision and skill set that allows him to tell compelling stories in any genre or project. He'll bring his creativity and technical expertise to this project, as with anything he does. These skills coupled with his collaborative nature, tireless work ethic and diversity of experience make him a great match for the Sonny Boy team.
Ms. Brawley received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Redlands. After graduating she secured an internship and then job at Archstone Distribution (World-Wide Sales and Distribution Company with nearly 200 title library). Over her past nine years at Archstone she has worked in a variety of roles within Sales, Acquisitions, and Delivery, working on over 100 films. While at Archstone, after taking a New York Film Academy short term producing program, Ms. Brawley realized her love for Producing and simultaneously began gaining experience in production, serving a variety of on-set roles. Having a background in distribution while working in production has given her a unique perspective of filmmaking as a Producer, a knowledge which she implements from Development to Post-Production.
From making budget proposals to the Mayor of San Francisco at sixteen years old, to starting his Video Production Company at twenty-one, Antonio is one passionate young Producer. He received his B.A. in Broadcasting & Electronic Communication Arts at San Francisco State University and his M.A. from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Antonio is a Northern California Emmy Award Winning Producer for his Spanish Video Content with The San Francisco Giants Baseball Organization, targeting the Hispanic/Latinx Community. With experience as a Co-Producer & UPM on I Wrote This For You (2019), Sonny Boy will be Antonio’s 2nd Feature.
Katie Oliver is an actress and filmmaker originally from Detroit. She started her own production company, Pink Clubhouse Productions 3 years ago. Her mission is to support female-created content and has produced 6 total projects under this company thus far, the most recent being a web series called “KEEPING IT 100: The Series”, which featured an all female team of producers, director, main cast, director of photography and sound. She has received two Best Actress awards for her work in short films 'Downriver' and 'Life at the End of Earth', as well as Best Actress Runner Up for 'Night Fighters.'.
Born and raised in Orange County, California, Matt Stoner was exposed to the arts at a young age. After spending 8 years in the Laguna Playhouse Conservatory, and continued his training in the BFA Screen Acting program at Chapman University, graduating with the class of 2013. He continues to perform, having appeared in Grease Live (2016, FOX), Scumbag (2017, Mars Roberge), and Strange Angel (2018, CBS), though he most recently jumped to the other side of the camera as the Producer and Executive Producer of I Wrote This For You (2019).
Born in Flint, MI, Kirstie has been acting since she was a teenager in Mount Morris, MI. She appeared in several films in Michigan before moving to Los Angeles in 2013 where she has continued her work and training as an actress. Kirstie has also moved into working behind the camera. She has been involved in many projects including the web series Keeping It 100: The Series, multiple features, and a Netflix pilot; in roles including Key PA, 1st AD, and Associate Producer.
Norma Alejandra López
Ms. Norma Alejandra López is a bilingual Communications and Media Technologies Graduate from Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Norma's love of film and radio production was evident since early in her career. She started out in Radio, hosting her own show while in college for the Academy of Art University's Urban Knights Radio Station. She worked as an Assistant Producer for XM Radio Talk Show Straight Male Friend which was based in the Bay Area. In 2015, Norma continued to gain radio and production experience by working for KVMV 96.9 a Christian Rock radio station in Texas. Since Graduating in 2017, Norma has been working with Vanishing Pictures. In June 2018, in collaboration with The San Francisco Giants Baseball Organization, Norma was rewarded her first Northern California Emmy Award for her Spanish Video Content for "Estación de Mi Gente".
